Our four-star lodge accommodates up to 96 guests (sharing) or 48 guests (single occupancy) in a wide variety of well-appointed accommodation options. Choose from standard rooms, deluxe rooms, executive rooms, garden cottages and garden suites. The rich history of the area and tranquillity of the African bush are represented in the decor, and an array of convenient amenities make for a seamless stay.

Conferencing & Team Building

Conveniently located only an hour from Johannesburg, our modern conference centre boasts 5 conference rooms which can be arranged in a variety of configurations. The idyllic bush setting and state-of-the-art facilities make it a fitting destination for sizable conferences, training courses, team building initiatives and other executive functions.

The onsite restaurant at African Hills Safari Lodge & Spa can be found in our main lodge complex overlooking a dam often frequented by wildlife. A hearty buffet breakfast with hot and cold options offers the perfect start to the day and light snacks from an a la carte menu are available over lunch. At night, the cosy dining room is transformed into a candlelit sanctuary serving up a 3-course dining experience from an ever-evolving menu.

The 6800 hectare Plumari Private Reserve is home to an abundance of exquisite flora and fauna, including more than 80 different types of mammals and over 350 bird species. Wildlife present on the reserve include elephants, rhino, lions, buffalo, leopard, sable, eland, wildebeest and giraffe. Nestled in the shadow of the Magaliesberg mountains, it is an area steeped in history, and home to some of the country’s most fascinating San rock engravings.
