Designed with both business and leisure travellers in mind, African Hills Safari Lodge & Spa offers a unique take on the typical South African safari. The decor captures the romance of the past while retaining the serenity of the surrounding wilderness. The main area of the lodge, once the old Bodenstein family farmhouse, comprises of a quaint lounge and the spacious onsite restaurant. Resident guests can enjoy access to our resplendent gardens and the two sparkling outdoor swimming pools, perfect to cool off during the balmy summer days.

Our Restaurant

A large indoor dining room features fascinating decor pieces dating back to the 1800s. Sliding doors open out onto an open-air terrace, where tables are nestled under the shade of a Wild Olive tree. Diners overlook the small dam, where our resident wildlife often pause to refresh themselves throughout the day.

The restaurant at African Hills Safari Lodge is open to both guests and day-visitors alike, for breakfast, dinner and light snacks. Breakfasts are served buffet-style while dinners are a 3-course affair utilising an ever-evolving menu.
