Food Donation Programme
Every year, we deliver 500 food parcels, providing essential groceries to support many families in surrounding communities and schools across Hekpoort, Doornhoek, Kromdraai, Skeerpoort, and beyond. Our team takes a hands-on approach, preparing, packing, and personally delivering the parcels while engaging with local leaders to better understand their needs. Each parcel includes a mix of staple vegetables, fruits, and protein to help families with their daily meals.
The spirit of community extends further within the reserve. Local farmers often donate unsellable meat to help feed our animals, ensuring nothing goes to waste and fostering a supportive relationship between us and our neighbours. In addition, we remain committed to creating employment opportunities that empower locals with new skills and enable them to make a lasting impact in their own communities.
